Thearon Gray.jpg

Minister of Worship Arts, Media, & Communication

Thearon joined our staff in July of 2016. He and his family are native Texans but they now call Kentucky their home! Thearon has been in the music and worship ministry since college, serving churches in both Florida and Texas. He His desire is to see people's lives changed by equipping them to worship their Creator and Savior with passionate intentionality.

Thearon is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, now Texas State University (B.M - Flute Performance) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.M. - Music Ministry). Although he loves to read and attend worship conferences to continue his education, he has no plans to pursue a doctorate because he hates writing papers!

He lives in Russell, KY with his wife of 21 years, Maura Landrum, and their 6 kids who range in age from a college freshman to a 2nd grader. For fun and relaxation he enjoys baking and crafting and will spend hours absorbing trivia on Wikipedia. Upon moving to Kentucky he was asked "What color do you bleed?" in reference to his favorite sports team. When he answered, "Red...," the congregation was split for few seconds between loving him and reviling him until he finished his statement: "Red... my blood is normal." Although he doesn't follow sports, he does cheer loudly for his kids in their sports activities! Live long and prosper, y'all.
